Unite BVI

What is Unite BVI? 

Unite BVI is a not-for-profit foundation based in the British Virgin Islands (BVI).  

Unite BVI was founded by Virgin Unite and Virgin Limited Edition in 2016 to help create new opportunities for communities across the British Virgin Islands. 

Since its launch, Unite BVI has brought together people, ideas and resources to help tackle community and environmental challenges. The Unite BVI team collaborate with communities and BVI change-makers to solve the most pressing issues faced by the BVI and its people.  

Working across a wide range of projects, Unite BVI advocate for the protection of the environment as well as enriching the community through supporting entrepreneurs, investing in education, and addressing public health and social welfare issues with sustainable solutions. 

Unite BVI’s overheads are covered by Virgin Unite – meaning that all donations received go directly to the initiatives Unite BVI creates and supports.   

What does Unite BVI do? 

Unite BVI collaborates with communities and change-makers to solve the region’s most pressing issues – it works across three main areas: 

• Supporting entrepreneurs: Connecting the region’s most promising start-up entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge and resources they need to thrive and create much-needed jobs and opportunities in their communities. 

• Environmental conservation: Advocating for the preservation of the exquisite natural beauty of the BVI by protecting vulnerable species, encouraging ‘greener’ solutions, by striving to limit human impact and most importantly investing efforts into inspiring a generation that stewards the planet with care. 

• Community: Enriching the community through supporting education, health and social development programmes, and creating opportunities through youth empowerment.
