Tricia Keller is the Director of Strategy and Programs for Virgin Unite, the entrepreneurial foundation of the Branson family and Virgin Group. As part of the leadership team Tricia is focused on turning strategy into impact and incubating new global initiatives to tackle systemic challenges such as The B Team, Ocean Unite and the Carbon War Room (now merged with RMI). She heads up the organization’s climate and nature work including investments, global advocacy and supporting businesses to set and reach ambitious climate goals.
Throughout her career Tricia has worked across business, government and the social sector, bringing them together to help develop lasting solutions to global challenges. Prior to joining Unite, she served as a Senior Advisor at both the White House and U.S. State Department creating policies, partnerships and initiatives to strengthen economic growth through entrepreneurship, women’s economic participation, and impact Investing.
Tricia started her career at the U.S. Embassy in Paris as a commercial trade assistant and then spent six years leading programs in the Middle East and North Africa with the National Democratic Institute, where she developed and directed its first revenue-generating social enterprise. She also served as a regional economic development consultant in the Maldives and has spent time advising companies and startups on how to convert from traditional CSR to being purpose led. She holds a Master in International Business from the IUP de Commerce International and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
